Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Parker-Lambert ("we", "us", or "PixelBrief") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PixelBrief web application at pixelbrief.ai (the "Service"). PixelBrief is operated by Parker-Lambert from California, United States.
Plain-English summary: we collect what we need to run the app — your account info, the images you upload and generate, and basic usage logs. We use third-party AI providers (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate and tag images; we send them the inputs you provide. We do not sell your data. We do not use your content to train AI models. 1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we also receive a Google account identifier and your profile name from Google.
Content you upload and generate
The Service is built around image generation. We store the images you upload as source material, the images the AI generates from your inputs, the text prompts and form values you submit when generating, and any captions, tags, or descriptions associated with your images (whether written by you or generated by AI). We organize this content into the brands and projects you create inside the app.
Usage logs
We keep a log of billable actions in your account — for example, each time an image is generated. This is used to deduct credits, prevent abuse, and let you see your own activity history. The log records the action type, the time it occurred, and the user account it belongs to.
Cookies and sessions
We set a session cookie when you sign in so the app can remember who you are between requests. The cookie is necessary for the Service to function and contains an opaque session identifier — no personal data is stored in the cookie itself. The session expires when you sign out or after a period of inactivity.
Payment information
When you buy a credit pack, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full payment card number; Stripe handles that directly. We do store a record of the transaction (amount, date, credit pack purchased) and a Stripe customer identifier so we can attach future purchases to the right account.
Marketing site analytics
Before you sign in, we use Google Analytics 4 on our marketing pages to understand how visitors find and use the site. GA4 may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address (which Google truncates), the pages you view, the referring URL, and basic device information. We do not use GA4 inside the signed-in application — analytics stops once you log in.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service — generating, storing, and serving the images and content you create.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process payments and manage your credit balance.
- To send transactional notifications related to your account or projects — for example, when another user invites you to collaborate, or when a credit purchase completes. These notifications are sent through Brevo. You will not receive marketing or newsletter emails unless you explicitly opt in to them in the future.
- To improve the Service by analyzing aggregate usage patterns and identifying bugs.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. AI providers and how we use them
PixelBrief is a front-end for several third-party AI image models. When you generate or save an image, your input data is sent to one or more of these providers to perform the work:
- Google (Gemini) — used for image generation. We send the prompt text and any source images you've uploaded.
- OpenAI — used for image generation. We send the prompt text and any source images you've uploaded.
- Anthropic (Claude) — used for AI tagging and captioning of saved images. When you save an image to your library, we send a downsized preview of that image plus a tagging prompt.
These providers process the data on their own infrastructure under their own privacy policies. We use their commercial APIs, which under their standard terms do not use customer inputs to train their models. Their policies are available here:

You can disable AI-generated tagging in your account settings, in which case we will not send your saved images to Anthropic. You cannot disable the providers used for the generation modules themselves — those are inherent to how the Service works.
4. Other third parties we share information with
- Google — if you sign in with Google, we receive your account identifier and profile information from Google.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We do not share your content with anyone other than the providers above and only for the purposes described.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data, images, and project content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a specific image or project from within the app, it is removed from active storage immediately and purged from our systems within a reasonable period thereafter.
If you delete your entire account, we soft-delete your data immediately (so it stops appearing in the Service) and hard-delete it after 90 days. The 90-day window lets us recover the account if the deletion was accidental and gives us time to comply with any related legal obligations.
Database backups are retained for 35 days on a rolling window. Data in backups is overwritten in due course as those backups age out.
Some records — for example, payment transaction records and usage logs — may be retained longer where required by tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention laws.
6. AI training
We do not use your uploads, generated images, prompts, captions, or any other content you provide to PixelBrief to train any AI model — our own or anyone else's. We use the third-party AI providers listed above through their commercial APIs, which under their standard terms also do not train on customer inputs. If any of those providers ever change their terms, we will update this policy and notify you before the change takes effect.
7. Children
PixelBrief is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant minimum age). If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact hello@parker-lambert.com and we will delete it.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information — for example, the right to access, correct, delete, or export it; the right to opt out of certain uses; or the right to know what categories of data we collect. Residents of California (under the CCPA), the EU and UK (under the GDPR), and similar jurisdictions all have such rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@parker-lambert.com from the email address on your account, or use the relevant control inside the app where available. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
You can also:
- Edit or delete individual images, brands, and projects from within the Service.
- Disable AI tagging in your account settings.
- Delete your account from within the Service or by emailing us.
- Block GA4 cookies on the marketing pages using your browser's cookie controls or an extension such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, password hashing using modern algorithms, and access controls on production data. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your account credentials confidential.
10. International data transfers
Parker-Lambert is based in California. The third-party providers we use (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, Brevo, IONOS) operate globally. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will also notify you by email or through the app before the change takes effect.
